1.0 - A quick demo of a game I tried to make 5 years ago without much knowledge of ue4 finally realized and made in 13 days using that knowledge. I'm no artist so don't mind the placeholder art and models. 

1.1 - Fixed the mushy feeling mouse. Took months to research a fix, and a week to implement it lol.

1.2 - because people meme'd about me releasing on the 14th, I made a build. differences: The camera has been worked on again to try and mitigate motion sickness, only remaining feedback to be implemented is stopping all rotation-to-desired when the character is stopped. Also there's rendering optimizations as shown in the 3rd devlog and navmesh upgrades in the yet to be shown off up-and-coming 4th devlog. 

1.3 - Better pathfinding and AI (might be too good as I lost 2/3 lives with enemy indicators on), halfway through a UI rewrite, lack of a good collide and slide algorithm. The lack of the collide and slide should be apparent when walking/sprinting into a wall at an angle that should normally not bring the player to an aburpt stop, though it may take a couple of tries to find one of those particular angles. (releasing because someone said "skill issue" to me losing 2/3 lives, Update: They retracted their statement after losing 5 lives)

1.4 - level geometry was the problem not Collide and Slide so that has been fixed, Pickup items have high quality shadows even at the low quality setting (it's a shader that should perform and look better than the engine generated one), and UI Rewrite finished. The UI Rewrite provides:

  • full controller support
  • instantly switching between keyboard/mouse and controller
  • controller icons should match the controller the player is using (dualshock, xbox, and switch pro. However only ever tested with a ps4 controller, let me know if it doesn't properly display your controller's icons)
  • UI keyboard navigation is now respective of which keys you have mapped to the directional movement keys, so if you were to remap the right hand present to tfgh instead of wasd. tfgh would be your new UI Navigation keys, and wasd would no longer work.
